Introduction of Legislation Relating to Public Higher Education
All bills introduced in the Rhode Island General Assembly which concern any of the institutions under the Board’s jurisdiction are to be channeled through the commissioner of Higher Education Office to the appropriate president. These bills will be summarized in the “Commissioner’s Report to the Board” at all Board meetings which take place during the legislative session, with comments from the individual presidents on those bills which are directly related to their respective institutions.
