Reyes is a director in the CAST Division at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island. From her experience working in finance and academics, Reyes realized the disparities in how financial literacy resources are allocated. In response, she founded The FLY Initiative to bring much-needed financial literacy programming to underserved and underrepresented youth. Marcy Reyes received her undergraduate degree in finance from Rhode Island College in 2012, and earned a master’s in finance from Northeastern University in 2014. Reyes serves as adjunct professor at RIC, teaching finance to students who come from diverse backgrounds.
