Sayris Santana is the student representative on the Council on Postsecondary Education. A first-generation college student, Sayris Santana began her studies at Community College of Rhode Island in Fall 2025 as a full-time dual enrollment student while attending Alvarez High School in Providence, where she graduated in Spring 2026 with a standout academic record. She has continued that success at CCRI, where she is a Rhode Island Promise student enrolled in prerequisite coursework for the college’s sonography program.
